So… What Is a Herdshare?

A herdshare WHAT?

At its core, a herdshare is just an agreement between two free people.

You become a part owner of the herd.
And when you own something… you get to enjoy what it produces.

care for the cows, handle the milking, and make sure everything is clean without crazy government regulation.

And the two of us agree to trust each other.

You trust me to care for the animals and provide clean, nourishing milk.

And I trust you to take it home and use it for your family with care.

Value for value! Without oversight.

That’s really what it comes down to.

Simple.
Honest.
The way it was meant to be.

After your initial buy-in, there’s a monthly board fee that covers the cost of caring for the herd and producing your milk.

That includes 4 weekly pickups each month.

Once you’re in, it’s just part of your rhythm.

When you first sign up, I invite you out for a new member tour—bring your whole family.

I’ll walk you through everything.

You’ll see the barn, the milking area, where your milk is stored…
and of course, you’ll meet the cows.

Transparency is really important to me. I want you to see exactly where your food is coming from.

If you need help, I’ll walk you through how much milk makes sense for your family and what pickup day fits best into your week.

And then…

You leave with your first jar of fresh, cream-top milk.

“Liquid sunshine.”

You’ll also get to see what other products are available for members.

It’s a simple process—but it’s one that tends to stick with people.

Because this isn’t a big dairy.
There are no faceless cows here.

Just a small group of families sharing milk from animals they know.

I can’t wait to hear about the first sip you take when you get home...

When you pour a glass, or your kids grab it before you even get the lid back on.

Maybe they forget to shake it and get a mouthful of cream first 😉

Or it ends up over a bowl of cereal on a busy morning.

That’s what this is about.

Real food.
Real life.
Right in your own kitchen.

I love that the families I serve are choosing to be part of something rooted in trust and wholesome, homegrown food.

You really are special to me.
